Combined Concert Information

This is one of the 3 most important concerts of the year.  Every choir member is expected to be there.  Parents, I need you to be at the concert to support your child and the choir.  AND to take your child home after the concert.  Otherwise your child has no way home.

*Leave for Arlington:  7:30 AM at SHCI by bus – this leaves the parents free for most of the day.
*Concert place:  Trinity United Methodist Church, 1200 Green Oaks Blvd., Arlington, TX 76013
*Concert Time:  6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
*Students will return home from the concert with their parentsNo buses

*Wear daytime girls and boys:  khaki pants from Dickies, HC polo shirts, tennis shoes and socks

*Thursday, April 18 – Picture for the dances and other students all in their costumes.  I will have a schedule for this on the website next week.   We begin at 4:30. If you want your child to have an individual photo or a photo with their friends, this is the time.  They need to dress in their concert costumes for one picture and then whatever they choose for any other pictures you want.  You can even have family members.  We will have a professional photographer.  His charges are very reasonable.   You don’t have to purchase anything.  I just want the dance groups ion costumes pictures and students in their costumes.

*Tuesday, April 30 - We have been invited (by superintendent’s assistant) to sing for “A Night of the Stars” for Crowley ISD.  I need 30 students.   First, I will take 2nd year students.  It will be held at Life Church by Summer Creek Middle School.  I will get the address.
Rehearsal at regular time on Tuesday, April 30, to prepare.  We will get pizza and then go by bus to the church.  New line up etc.  Must have rehearsal for this.
Program begins at 7:00 PM and you can take your child with you after the program.

*Saturday, May 18 – Sing for Dallas Park Carnival.  Probably around noon.  I will let you know.  Of course, 2nd year students first and then volunteer.
